Today’s concerns

The number of children who experience mental and emotional wellbeing challenges is on the rise. Children thrive when surrounded by positivity, kindness, and encouragement where they can be themselves, without being judged or feeling that they must imitate the people in their environment. At Infinity Children’s Wellbeing we focus on being unique and feeling great about our individuality.

I cannot recommend the L1 Emotions enough! Both I and my 7yo thoroughly enjoyed the workshop and both took plenty away with us. I’ve already used some of the knowledge by letting my 4yo know feeling angry is okay. My 7yo was quite shy in the workshop but still got involved and we both can’t wait for the second one!

Workshops

Allowing a child to express themselves and have their voice heard is crucial for healthy wellbeing.

Our workshops do this in a safe and friendly environment. Each workshop lasts for approximately 1.5 hours, with interactive activities designed to coach and mentor children in areas of wellbeing to include emotions, confidence, mental wellbeing, and physical health.

Confidence

The level one workshop defines confidence in a child friendly way exploring how children can boost their confidence in a fun and interactive way.

The level two workshop can only be attended once the level one workshop has been completed. The level two workshop provides parents/guardians and children with strategies and ideas to help the children reach their full potential, meeting their fears, and accepting that they will not feel confident in all situations.

The level two workshop can only be attended once the level one workshop has been completed. The level two workshop provides children with a basic understanding of how they can influence their own mental wellbeing in a positive or negative way. It looks deeper into how negative peer pressure and bullying can have a significant impact on an individual’s mental wellbeing. In addition, it promotes the benefit of physical exercise.

The level two workshop can only be attended once the level one workshop has been completed. The level two workshop looks at the effects of poor wellbeing providing the children and their parents/guardians with the ability to deal with their emotional, mental and physical health.

Programmes

It is estimated that 75% of adults with mental health conditions are diagnosed by the age of 18.

To reduce the chance of your child being one of these statistics, parents and guardians should embrace positive champions in their child’s life. At Infinity Children’s Wellbeing we become your child’s champion when they embark on a 6-week programme. The programmes cover a range of subjects linked to wellbeing.

Confidence

Each session is an hour long and full of interactive activities for children to complete over a period of 6 weeks. Each week the children explore ways to improve their confidence. They learn that words, body language and actions all define a level of confidence. We explore how an individual’s mindset, their past experiences and how they view themselves can influence their thoughts and therefore affect their self-confidence.
