Who am I?

Often when asked to say a few words about ourselves the most obvious answer is to tell the listener your name, occupation, marital status and whether you have children. But this doesn’t describe who you are. It simply tells the listener what you are.

My name is Natalie Bryden and I coach and mentor children to become the best versions of themselves, so they can understand and be accountable for their own wellbeing. I’m married and a mum of three boys.

This provides an overview of my social situation. It simply tells the listener what I am, not who I am.

I’ll reshape my answer using this concept. I am hardworking, disciplined, driven, respectful, thoughtful and endeavour always to be kind. This defines me.

We are all unique and have individual personalities which define who we are. As parents and guardians, it’s our responsibility to encourage children to understand who they are and what qualities they have, so they can develop and blossom throughout their life.
